About
Gordana Jerosimic Goga is a painter, educator, and illustrator based in Fort Lee, NJ. She was born in Belgrade, Serbia, in 1953 as the daughter of a diplomat, which led her to live in various countries such as Belgium, Poland, the USA, and Serbia. In 1998, Gordana moved to the USA and continued her travels all around the world. She strongly believes that art brings people and their cultures closer together, and she envisions a better world if we could incorporate the best from each culture.
Gordana draws inspiration for her artwork from nature and its beauty. She creates captivating botanical interplays that harmoniously connect as one. Her floral creations possess a 3D appearance and exhibit an architectural quality. Her deep affection for nature originates from her memories, perceptions, experiences, and the tranquility she has encountered during her travels. Through her art, Gordana aims to draw attention to the urgent issues of climate change and the importance of preserving nature.
